ACADEMIC CALENDAR’ 2009 - 10

( Including Examination’09-10 Schedule and other related activities )

(A): For (VIII+) Level STC [Vocational]

For the academic session 2009-2010, the Term end Examination of 2009-10 will be held in two different phases for (VIII+) level STC (Vocational) courses in the following manner:

1st Phase Programmes: For the course Period: January’09 to June’09

Applicable for those institutions starting Vocational training programmes at (VIII+) level in the month of January’09.

Registration

1.(a) Distribution of Blank Registration Form from the Nodal Centre : From 19th January’09.
(b) Last date for submission of the filled up Registration Form with Regstn. Fee (Rs.50/- per candidate) at the Nodal Centre :

Without late fine: 13^th March’09.
With late fine (Rs. 20/- per candidate): 27^th March’09

Examination Form related programmes

   2.(a)   Distribution of Blank Application Form for the Term End Examination from the Nodal Centre :
             From 19^th January’09.
     (b)   Last date for submission of the filled up Examination Form with Exam Fee (Rs. 100/- per Candidate) at the Nodal Centre.

Without late fine: 13^th March’09
With late fine (Rs. 20/- per candidate): 27^th March’09

3. Distribution of Admit card and other documents of Exami from the Nodal Centre : From 06^th July’2009 to 10^th July’ 2009.

4. Tentative date of Final Examinations: (For all trades)

14th July’ 2009 (Tuesday) – Theory Exam.
15th - 17th July’ 2009 (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) – Practical / Sessional Exam [External].

2nd Phase Programmes: For the course Period: July’09 to December’09

Applicable for those institutions starting Vocational training programmes at (VIII+) level in the month of July ’09.

Registration

1.(a) Distribution of Blank Registration Form from the Nodal Centre : From 20th July’08 .
(b) Last date for submission of the filled up Registration Form with Registration Fee (Rs.50/-) at the Nodal Centre :

Without late fine: 04th September’09.
With late fine (Rs. 20/- per candidate): 16th September’09.

Examination Form related programmes

  2.(a)      Distribution of Blank Application Form for the Term End Examination from the Nodal Centre :
              From 19^th July ’09.
     (b)     Last date for submission of the filled up Examination Form with Examination Fee (Rs. 100/- ) at the Nodal Centre :

Without late fine: 04th September’09.
With late fine (Rs. 20/- per candidate): 16th September’09.

3. Distribution of Admit card and other documents of Examination from the Nodal Centre : From 11th January ’2010 to 18th January ’2010.

4. Tentative date of Final Examinations: (For all trades)

19th January ’ 2010 (Tuesday) – Theory Exam.
20th – 22th January’ 2010 (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) – Practical / Sessional Exam [External].

(B): For (X+) Level STC [Vocational]

Commencement of New Session

1.	Date of Commencement of classes
	A) For all Disciplines of Class XII [Note: Considering all the appeared class XI Students are provisionally promoted, to class XII pending publication of result for Annual Examination held at the end of class XI.]	From 1st week of June’2009 [Tentatively from 01st June’09 (Monday)]
	B) For all Disciplines of class XI	From 1st week of July’2009 [Tentatively from 01st July’09 (Wednesday)]

Registration

1. (a)	Distribution of Blank Registration Form (for the student of class XI only) from the Nodal Centre.	From 20th July’2009
(b)	Last date for submission of the filled up Registration Form with Registration Fee (Rs.100 /- per Candidate) at the Nodal Centre.	Without late fine - 04th September’2009 With late fine (Rs. 20/- per candidate) - 16th September’2009

Examination Form related programmes

3. (a)

Distribution of Blank Application Form for the Annual Examinations of class XI and XII from the Nodal Centre.

From 03rd November’2009

(b)

Last date for submission of the filled up Registration Form with Registration Fee (Rs.100 /- per Candidate) at the Nodal Centre.

Without late fine - 20th November’2009
With late fine (Rs. 20/- per candidate) -
04th December’2009

4. (a)

Distribution of Admit card from the Nodal Centre.

From 22nd February’2010 to 12th March’2010

(b)

Distribution of all Confidential document related with Examinations from the Nodal Centre.

From 08th March’2010 to 26th February’2010

Tentative Date of Final Examinations : (For all Disciplines of Class XI & XII)

From 10th March’2010 (Monday) to 12th March ’2010 (Friday) -

Practical / Sessional Exam [External]

From 17th March’2010 (Wednesday) to 30th April’2010 (Friday) -

Theory Exam

Detailed final programme will be intimated later on

Last date of submission of marks for both Internal & External of Practical Exams at the Council Office.

Kind Attention

Cost of all categories [both for (VIII+) & (X+2) Level H.S. (Vocational)] Registration Form / Examination Form is Rs. 5/- each

Collection of Registration Form / Examination Form / Admit card etc., the nbsp; representative of the institution should submit the requisition letter from the Head of the institution at the Nodal Centre

During submission of Forms, all types of Fees [i.e. Registration Fee/ Examination Fee Late Fine (if required)] are to be deposited through Bank Draft in favour of:
“West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training (Gen)” payable at Kolkata . Separate drafts are to be made for separate categories of Forms.

Distribution & collection of all the above mentioned Examination related documents will be done through the concerned Nodal Centre of the district. You are requested to keep regular contact with the respective Nodal Centre.
